Naija Pop Star Davido Closes A Multi-Million Doller Deal With Sony Music

The deal which was executed by Nigerian raised, American music executive Efe Ogbeni (Grace, Red One) who is also partners with Nicki Minaj on Parker Ighile’s project, and facilitated by Davido’s manager Kamal Ajoboye, is the BIG reason why Davido’s sophomore album, The B.A.D.D.E.S.T was pushed back in 2015.

Present at the signing were Edgar Beger (Chairman and CEO Sony Music International) Davido, Adewala Adeleke, Efe Ogbeni, Kamal Ajiboye.

This is an amazing day for Nigerian and Afrobeat music; a lot is about to change and our sound now has a TRUE opportunity to make a dent in the music space on a global level. A big congrats to Davido!
