The exams which are organised by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board
(JAMB) have gained notoriety for been difficult to the point that many
Nigerians have had to resit the exam several times before being able to pass it.
The 2016 the UTME held today,
February 27, across the country and a total of 1,589,175 candidates who
registered are expected to sit for the exams. While candidates were
slugging it out in the exam halls, some Nigerians took to social media
to wish candidates success and narrate their experiences about the exam which has come to be known famously as JAMB. See reactions below.
Due to the UTME exams, the Lagos state government on Friday, lifted the restriction order on human and vehicular movements during
this month’s environmental sanitation slated for tomorrow Saturday,
February 27) allow invigilators and other stakeholders participate
effectively in the exams.
